Designed exclusively for Carl Hansen & Søn in 1950, this wooden framed chair has been in production ever since.
Demonstrating Hans Wegner's flair for practical objects that are rich in detail, the Wishbone Chair has held a special place in the world of design for over half a century.
Remaining true to the designer's original drawings, the CH24 chair takes skilled craftsmen over one hundred steps to create, with gently curved, steam-bent elements and a meticulously handwoven paper cord seat. Its instantly recognisable Y-shaped back provides comfortable support for the sitter and stability to its unified top rail.
The CH24 Wishbone Chair is a timeless piece that evokes refinement, quality and conservative modernity, and is offered in a selection of sustainably sourced wood.
