Pressed Glass Pendant Light

Name / Pressed Glass Pendant Light
Designer / Tom Dixon
Manufacturer / Tom Dixon

A glass pendant made in industrial plants more commonly used to manufacture architectural products including car headlamps or glass insulators.

The Pressed Glass Light is created by compressing molten glass into a hollow mould which is then annealed in a kiln to form a robust object. The production process does not allow for intervention, and so small variations such as tiny air bubbles often occur within the finished product.

The bowl design can also be used as a wall light.
