Creating a simple, soft design for small and large pendants was the main idea behind Cecilie Manz’ Caravaggio series. The curves passed through a number of shapes during the design process creating an elegant form.

The shade is made of drawn steel and coated with smooth, white or black high-gloss enamel. The suspension assembly consists of curved steel rods and two pieces of turned brass coated in matt chrome. The depth of the shade prevents glare, no matter how high the pendant is hung.

Caravaggio also features an opening at the top, which casts light upwards and illuminates both the suspension and cord. The black version is also available with a red cord.

The Caravaggio family also includes table and floor versions with tilting heads and an opal glass version of the suspension light which offers a softer light diffusion through the shade.
