e15 is proud to introduce an exceptional collection of re-editions by renowned modernist architect and designer Ferdinand Kramer. Working closely with Kramer’s family and the archives, e15 debuts eight iconic designs from various creative periods of the German architect, beginning from 1925 to 1959.
Designed in 1925, the iconic daybed Theban is an excellent example of simplicity and grandeur in design. The reduced form features Ferdinand Kramer’s enduring and subtle aesthetic. Inspired by Egypt and hence the name, Theban is a notable daybed with a calm and inviting appeal.
The Theban is available in waxed solid European oak or walnut and features a hand woven surface finished with textile band or vegetable tanned leather, which is luxuriously soft and will patinate over time.
