We hope you managed to catch "Show 4" whilst it was on here at the showroom. But just in case you missed it, you can catch the story behind the project and highlights from the show here. The film also covers our second 'Table Talk'; a small gathering of designers, architects and friends, who joined us for some delicious food from Morito and a debate on the theme of food and design.
Our contributors for the evening were Daniel Charny (RCA Tutor and curator of the V&A's Power of Making exhibition) who discussed the relationship between the industrial revolution and the food we consume. He was followed by Sam Clark of Moro who told us about the allotment that inspired the "Moro East" recipe book. Next was Rebecca Hossack (gallerist and pioneer of the Noho Square allotments) whose battle with the local council inspired her to join their ranks and fight them from within. Lastly we heard from Euan Mills, (Town Planner and founder of the Chatsworth Road Neighbourhood Plan) who inspired us with his story of how his local environment has changed through positive community action.
We hope you enjoy the film as much as we enjoyed putting the show together.
