Missed Interieur this year ? Don't fret! We've got all the highlights for you right here /
This year's theme in Kortrijk was 'A New World'. Not some 'Huxley-esque' dystopic vision, but an optimistic assessment of contemporary design that "creates room for poetry, precision, technology and art." For some designers this has always been the case, but at a time when we edge ever closer to a reality of landfill sites bursting with obselete, over-designed objects, it feels essential to investigate different approaches to design's future.
Interieur's mix of the emerging and the established, the commercial and the experimental, makes them well placed to examine this concept. Below we have gathered some of our favourites from the fair for you to look at and judge for yourselves.
